Research Areas
Workplace equity, career advancement, power and status, in group vs out group dynamics
My research focuses on organizational behavior and barriers to career advancement for otherwise qualified candidates, linking this to organizational retention rates. I'm particularly interested in exploring how a lack of career development opportunities affects turnover and the psychological phenomenon of "soft quitting," across industries. I would like to also research how AI can be used in the employee evaluation process, and the potential ethical implications of its usage.
